Acceptable Use Policy

Effective
September 2026
Last updated
September 2026
Version
1.0

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of Tarseek. Provider rules may be stricter. Violations may result in request blocking, rate limits, key or account suspension, Model disablement, investigation, record preservation, and reports required by law.

1. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • engage in illegal activity;
  • commit fraud, scams, or phishing;
  • send spam or unsolicited bulk messages where prohibited;
  • steal credentials or attempt unauthorized access;
  • develop or distribute malware or malicious cybersecurity activity directed at others, except lawful security research within the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy;
  • create, possess, or distribute child sexual exploitation or CSAM, or otherwise exploit children;
  • create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual content involving individuals who have not consented;
  • assist violent wrongdoing, terrorism, or unlawful weapons abuse;
  • harass, threaten, or incite violence against persons;
  • violate privacy, including doxxing or unlawful surveillance;
  • infringe intellectual property;
  • impersonate others or engage in deceptive conduct, including fraudulent deepfakes used to harm;
  • abuse API Keys, Promotional Credits, or referral programs;
  • attack, disrupt, or probe Tarseek except as authorized security research;
  • bypass safeguards, rate limits, or geographic/age restrictions;
  • violate Model Provider policies;
  • make prohibited high-impact automated decisions without required human review and legal basis;
  • create serious security or legal risk to Tarseek, providers, or others.

2. Child safety

Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited. Tarseek will report CSAM to required authorities when legally required and preserve relevant records as required by law.

3. High-impact decisions

Do not use the Service as the sole determinant of eligibility for employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similarly significant legal effects unless applicable law and provider terms allow it and you implement required notices and human review.

4. Enforcement

Tarseek may block requests, rate-limit, suspend API Keys, suspend accounts, disable Models, investigate abuse, preserve relevant records, and report conduct when legally required. Tarseek is not obligated to monitor all content but may review when it becomes aware of a problem.
