Pricing & billing

List prices come from GET /v1/catalog/models deployment objects. Do not copy prices into static docs.

Units

• Text: USD per million input tokens and per million output tokens.
• Cached input: a separate rate when the provider bills cache hits.
• Different deployments of the same model may have different prices.

Platform fee

Any Tarseek platform fee is shown at checkout or on the pricing surface in the product. These docs do not hardcode a fee percentage.

Credits

Tarseek is prepaid. Before inference, it atomically reserves the maximum estimated request cost across eligible fallback deployments. If available credits cannot cover the reservation, the request fails with HTTP 402 insufficient_credits. On success, the reservation is released and the exact usage cost is debited once. On failure, cancellation, or stale-request recovery, the reservation is released without a usage debit.

Active reservations are excluded from available balance. Settlement cannot make a prepaid balance negative. Self-serve checkout may be unavailable; credits can still be applied by Tarseek for accounts that have a balance.
